We are headed to mcallen for Easter weekend. While we are in McAllen Molly will be dedicated on Saturday evening at Baptist Temple. We are looking forward to this great moment that will shape Molly's future walk with God.

First Time @ Church
Molly went to church for the very first time this past Saturday evening. She did very well, it was our first time letting her go to a nursery and they told us that she slept most of the time and when we were finished we seen her swinging side to side in one of the baby swings. I asked if she had cried at all and they said that she hadn't. Mom cried more than the baby on this occasion. We enjoyed the service thought that the nursery staff was great.

Blue Eyes Or Brown Eyes
We are interested in knowing what the odds are of Molly keeping her blue eyes vs. brown eyes. Do you know what the chances are? Do you know what determines the color of the eyes and how long it will take us to find out if they will stay blue or turn brown? If so please email us your thought to admin@chakery.com

Baby Talk
I must say that it is so cute to listen to Molly and watch her lips as she tries to talk. I am often left wondering what it is that she is trying to say as she moves her lips as if words are really trying to leave her. She has so much excitement bundled up inside of her and it makes for great entertainment because we enjoy her so much and we love holding her close to us and watching her take everything in and try to make sense of it all in her mind, it must seem so crazy to her out in the real world. We try to keep it as calm as possible for her out here so that she doesn't decide to go back...

Wednesday
It is early morning in the a.m. on Wednesday and Molly adjusts to our schedule as we adjust to hers, she sleeps when we sleep and wakes when we wake. It is so neat to see how she is trying so hard to understand so much at such a young age a little over two months old.
I have been noticing how she can do a pan, tilt, and zoom with her head eagerly looking through a room to find that picture on the wall. She moves her head around the room till she finds that mirror that she looks into to see her pretty face and sweet smile. She can now see what we see when we wake up in the morning and how sweet it is.

Daddy's 1st Bath
Last night, Malcom gave Molly a bath - the first time on his own! I must say he did pretty well, but being the overprotective Mommy that I am I was watching the entire time and got some good pics! :) He did mess up the towel wrap, which made Molly mad, but they both recovered!
It warms my heart when I see Malcom with his little girl, he loves her so much, it is so obvious in just watching him hold her. This little girl has a lot of love in her life!

On the phone
The other evening I was on the phone speaking to my aunt pumpkin in NJ. I put the phone up to molly's ear and pumpkin began speaking into the phone and molly started trying to talk in her traditional baby talk. It was the cutest thing trying to see her talk through the phone and pumpkin enjoyed it as well.
Molly
Our baby girl Molly is such the sweetest and most precious little girl. The way that she smiles in the morning when she wakes up is an experience that is just so mind boggling. At a little over 2 months old she already knows what she wants when she wants it and how to get it in the quickest time possible. Lisa and I both have been blessed with a healthy baby who is not one to cry just to cry, when she does need something such as a feeding time at exactly 2 hours during the day or when she is ready to go to sleep she knows how to get right to sleep and often times making sure that I do not interupt her sleeping times by pushing daddy away at which she falls straight to sleep upon me leaving her alone. Is that amazing or what?
